Organisers of the Nigeria Cup have announced Alternative Bank as the lead sponsor for the 27th edition of the golf tournament, which teed off at the weekend.
Nigeria Cup is the biggest golf competition in the Golf Section of Ikoyi Club 1938. It is hosted in celebration of Nigeria’s Independent Anniversary.
The club said the strategic partnership brings together the two prestigious organisations committed to promoting harmony through sports, social interactions, and philanthropic initiatives.
A highlight of this year’s cup is the inaugural “Golf for Good” charity event- a three-hole mini-golf tournament aimed at raising funds from the participants and the bank for donations to charity.
Speaking at the tee-off of the Golf for Good charity contest, the bank’s Executive Director, South, Korede Demola-Adeniyi, said: “Our support reflects our core values.
