Music star and songwriter Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, has shared some secrets to handling trolls.
Taking to his Instagram story, he admonished celebrities to be nice to trolls, and listen to them. According to him, some of the trolls will tell them their frustrations and their problems and why they are just angry with them for nothing.
Paul stated that after such trolls have confided in them, they should ask for their account details, give them hope and when they send it, insult their father and block them.
“Sometimes be nice to these trolls, listen to them. They will tell you their frustrations and their problems and why they are just angry with you for nothing, then ask them to send their account details, give them hope, and when they send it. Insult their papa!! And block them”.
Similarly, his pregnant wife, Ifeoma, Ivy Ifeoma, had sent a message to trolls who attack celebrities and claim to be cruising with them and seeking their attention. Ifeoma wished they could understand how embarrassing it was to drop hate comments for fun, recognition, or money. She noted how not everyone has Chike’s heart as she urged them to save themselves the embarrassment as she noted how they looked stupīd.
Actor Yul Edochie offered important advice on how to handle social media trolls, which is to ignore or fight back. He stated further that there is no room for weakness, crying, or drawing pity as the world is tough already. Yul added that social media is a rugged place, and as such, it’s either you go hard or go home.
Yoruba actress, Wumi Toriola made a live video where she made her stance known about trolls who bully celebrities. The energetic actress made it known to netizens that any act or form of bullying her would result in her cursing such an entity.
