A Nigerian lawyer identified as Egi Nupe has reacted to a viral video of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo welcoming her daughter’s boyfriend.
Bibncollar reported on Saturday that Priscilla had welcomed her Tanzanian singer boyfriend, Juma Jux, to Nigeria in a grand style as he visited Nigeria. Priscilla had hired a convoy and dancers to welcome her lover to her country at the airport.
Her mother, Iyabo Ojo had also sweetly welcomed him into her family, stating that extra was their middle name. Declaring her love for him, Iyabo stated that he was deeply appreciated and loved by her family.
In a viral video, the mother of two was captured meeting Jux at her home in Lagos. In the clip, Jux had sprayed money at the entrance of her house as he prostrated to greet Iyabo, who sweetly welcomed him into her home. In another clip, the Tanzanian singer was seen on the dining trying out one of Nigeria’s best dishes, Okro and Poundo yam.
Reacting to it, the lawyer stated that the importance of a father in a child’s life can never be underestimated.
“You can never underestimate the importance of a father in the life of any child. Never!”.

Iyabo Ojo was married to the father of kids, Mr. Ademidun Ojo,; unfortunately, like many celebrities’ marriages, their union packed up shortly after the birth of their second child.
Taking fans down memory lane some years back, Iyabo recounted how she had to continue her education after she got married. According to her, she met her husband in 1999, she got pregnant, and they got married. In 2000, she decided to return to school, which made her leave acting and get pregnant again with Priscilla.
In 2018, Iyabo finally allowed her kids to see their dad for the first time in 6 years. The actress and her excited kids, Festus and Priscilla, took to Instagram to share photos of the meeting as they introduced their father to the world.
In 2022, Iyabo shared her painful experiences of surviving as a single mother and being treated as a second-class citizen due to her failed marriage. Iyabo recounted how people called her all manner of names because of her failed marriage both in the movie industry and the world at large.
