Nigerian singer Oxlade has thrown shade at an unknown colleague, warning him about the karma.
Taking to the micro-blogging platform Twitter now known as X, he noted how the singer wants to heal so badly but yet hasn’t pondered on the amount of souls he has scarred and the talents he has damaged. He reminded the artiste that his judgement day was waiting for him as he reminded him of karma.
“He wanna heal so bad, you sabi the amount of souls wey you done scar? Talents wey you done damage ?…Karma is too sure”.
His tweet has left many pondering about which artist he is referring to.

In March, Oxlade went on a podcast with Joey Akan, and he revealed that he went into rehab, following a tape that captured his intimate moments with a lady. He stated that the rationale behind his stay in rehab wasn’t the backlash he received after the tape went public, but it was the voice of his mother, who was disappointed in him. According to Oxlade, during his stay in rehab, he had no access to his phone and social media account. He said he cut himself away from the world and had no contact for a while.
In February 2022, the singer was the subject of discussion for days after a private video of him getting intimate with a lady was posted on Snapchat. The lady in question filed a lawsuit against him seeking N20 million as damages for the distasteful act.
Oxlade had later tendered an unreserved apology over the video, as he averred that he was conscious about his business being in public, and he’s not the type of person that churns out his business in the public.
Last year, Justice Olalekan Oresanya of an Ikeja High Court awarded N5 million damages against the singer. She described the singer’s action as “despicable, horrendous, distasteful and classless, and cautioned him against such acts in his relationship with the opposite s3x in the future.
Opening up about it in an interview, Oxlade revealed how he lost multimillion deals because of his s3xtapes. He confirmed that the private videos were real, and claimed that he was blackmailed over the tape and it was a big relief for him not to continue paying for the blackmail he was subjected to. Oxlade disclosed that it affected his family as his grandmother kept asking if he wanted to kill her.
Oxlade added that it pushed him into a dark phase as he had to also go in for rehab in the UK. However, he learnt a lesson from it.
