The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State has stepped up its preparations for the 2027 general elections with the inauguration of 13-member booth executives across the 23 polling units in Ezeama/Okpala Ward 4.
The exercise, led by Ngor Okpala LGA Chairman Sir Emeka Amajirionwu, drew party leaders, members and supporters from the ward. Amajirionwu expressed satisfaction with the strong turnout and the level of organisation on the ground. He praised the ward leadership and stakeholders for their commitment to building the party’s structures and urged the new booth executives to intensify mobilisation and community outreach.
An effective grassroots structure, he stressed, remains essential to any political party’s strength and success. He also thanked the ward chairman and other leaders for their efforts to expand the ADC’s presence in the local government.
Party chieftain Mr John Eke charged the newly inaugurated executives to take full ownership of their polling units and mobilise at least 10 committed voters each who will actively participate in the electoral process.
State Deputy Woman Leader Lady Leticia Okere welcomed the inclusion of women in the booth structures and urged them to use their networks and organisational strength to build support for the party.
Apex Leader of Ezeama/Okpala Ward 4, Dr Chigozie Okereke, thanked the party leadership and inauguration team for visiting the ward. He called on members to remain committed to the ADC amid prevailing economic hardships and to take the party’s message into their communities.
The inauguration forms part of the ADC’s broader effort to consolidate its booth-level structures, expand grassroots reach and deepen voter mobilisation across Ngor Okpala ahead of the 2027 polls.
