Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo has married his long-time partner Georgina Rodriguez in a private civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal.
Ronaldo, 41, and Rodriguez, who have been together since 2016 after meeting in Madrid, confirmed the marriage by posting a photograph on Instagram of their hands displaying matching wedding rings, captioned simply “C❤️G.”
A representative for the Al Nassr forward confirmed the union, stating that the couple “were married today in a civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, and are now officially husband and wife.” The ceremony was described as a private and intimate moment attended only by their five children.
Cascais, a coastal resort town about 20 miles west of Lisbon, is where the low-key event took place. The wedding comes exactly one year after Rodriguez publicly announced their engagement in August 2025.
The timing also falls just four days before Al Nassr begin their 2026-27 Saudi Pro League campaign. Ronaldo, one of football’s most prolific goalscorers with a career spanning Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Al Nassr and the Portugal national team, recently appeared in his sixth FIFA World Cup.
The couple, who frequently share aspects of their family life on social media, have maintained a high-profile relationship for nearly a decade.
