Nollywood actor Ricardo Agbor has survived a car crash in Ibadan, Oyo State, after his Lexus SUV sustained heavy front-end damage.
Agbor posted video footage of the wrecked silver vehicle on Instagram on Saturday. The clip shows the SUV stopped in front of a Cornerstone City billboard, with its bonnet crushed, grille smashed, engine components exposed and the front-left tyre affected.
Standing at the scene, Agbor said: “This is my vehicle in front of Corner… Cornerstone City, Ibadan.” He repeatedly thanked Jesus Christ and added: “This is what just happened to me now. Oh God.”
In the accompanying caption he wrote: “As I was saying.. …Thank God Almighty I made it out of this. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ.”
The actor did not say what caused the crash, whether another vehicle was involved, or give details of any injuries.
Born in Lagos on 4 February 1973, Agbor is a native of Delta State and studied Mass Communication at the University of Ibadan. He began acting in 1992 after working as a model and gained wider notice in the film Visa to Hell. He has appeared in both English and Yoruba Nollywood productions over a career spanning more than three decades.
