Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has revealed that he turned down a significant financial offer to campaign against Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Responding to critics who accused him of feeling entitled to Obi’s support in promoting his album, The Machine Is Coming, Odumodublvck defended his stance, insisting that his loyalty came at a personal cost.
Taking to his X handle, he wrote:
“Ask Abbas, I was offered money I had never seen before to campaign against Mr. Peter, but I turned it down.”
He further argued that expecting Obi to support his album was not unreasonable, given the sacrifices he made.
“Telling him to promote my new album is not too much to ask as I am not one to seek favors. I sacrificed my life for this man. No wam. The Machine Is Coming.”
The rapper’s revelation has sparked discussions online, with fans and critics weighing in on his claims and expectations.
