A devastating road accident in Chiromawa Village, Garun Mallam Local Government Area of Kano State, has claimed 15 lives and left 10 others injured.
The crash, which occurred on Thursday around 3:20 p.m., involved a white Toyota Liteace bus with registration number NSR 188 KP and a stationary blue Daf trailer with registration number KMC 158 XW. According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, who shared the incident on Friday, the bus, carrying 25 passengers, lost control and rammed into the parked trailer.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene and transported the victims to Kura General Hospital. Sadly, the bus driver and 14 passengers were pronounced dead on arrival, while the remaining 10 are receiving treatment for various injuries.
Authorities have yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
