The story of one Mr. Nnaemeka Augustine Asuzu is making the headline . We gathered that He was born in 1988 into a small family of two. Both his parents were alive, but his early childhood was not spent with them in the city. He was raised in the village by his grandparents in Amanator Community, Ideato South LGA, Imo State.
Information we gathered from some sources traced his problems to His class teacher, Mr. Eze, who according to impeccable sources introduced him into homosexuality.
Mr. Eze was supposed to be a protector but became a predator. Under the guise of helping him with his studies, the teacher drew the child close. What started as closeness turned into sexual abuse, a relationship the child did not have the capacity to understand or refuse. It was not love. It was exploitation.
When our correspondents arrived at the scene of the brutality, we were told that the victim has been banned from entering the village. On 10th April, 2025, he was sighted. A crowd gathered quickly. They chased him, caught him, beat him severely, poured fuel on him and attempted to set him ablaze. He escaped when the vigilante intervened. This took place late in the night. The angry mob flee on sighting well armed members of the local vigilantees . Mr Nnaemeka Asuzu managed to escape and nobody could give account of his whereabouts.
