Justice Binta Fatima Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja has prohibited all parties involved in the lawsuit filed by suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan against Senate President Godswill Akpabio and three others from granting media interviews related to the case.
The order was issued on Friday following a complaint by Akpabio’s lawyer, Kehinde Ogunwumiju (SAN), who alleged that Akpoti-Uduaghan had been making television appearances to discuss the ongoing legal matter.
In a brief ruling, Justice Nyako directed that neither the parties nor their legal representatives should comment publicly on the case. She also forbade the streaming of court proceedings on social media.
