An Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court on Friday ordered the remand of a 28-year-old man, Toyin Damilola, for allegedly stealing N1.5 million meant for fish and chicken feeds.
Damilola, who was arraigned on two counts of stealing, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
According to the prosecutor, Insp. Adegeshin Famuyiwa, the defendant allegedly diverted N577,720 designated for 24 bags of fish feed and N954,930 meant for 50 bags of chicken feed for personal use.

Magistrate A.O. Ogbe granted the defendant bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case until March 27 for mention.
