The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has issued a final reminder to its members regarding the exclusive 40% registration discount offered by the International Bar Association (IBA) for the IBA Annual Conference 2026.
In a statement released on Saturday, the NBA urged Nigerian lawyers planning to attend the prestigious global event to complete their registration before the discount window closes on July 10, 2026. After this date, the concession will expire, and participants will be required to pay the standard registration fee.
“The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) wishes to notify all members of a final reminder received from the International Bar Association (IBA) regarding the special 40% registration discount available exclusively to lawyers in Nigeria,” the statement read.
The NBA’s National Publicity Secretary, Bridget Edokwe, Esq., encouraged members to take advantage of the significant saving opportunity while it lasts. “Members are advised that the discounted registration offer will expire on 10 July 2026,” she noted.
This discount forms part of ongoing collaborations between the NBA and the IBA to facilitate greater participation by Nigerian legal practitioners in international legal forums.
