The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has presented the association’s annual report at its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The report, presented on Thursday, August 27, 2026, provides an overview of the activities, programmes, interventions and key milestones recorded by the NBA administration during the period under review.
According to the association, the report is also an accountability document designed to give members a clear picture of the work undertaken by the leadership and the progress made in advancing the objectives of the Nigerian Bar Association.
The NBA said the report highlights issues concerning the governance and development of the legal profession, as well as efforts aimed at promoting professional excellence and strengthening the administration of justice in Nigeria.
The association urged its members and other stakeholders to read the report and remain actively engaged in efforts to build a stronger and more effective Bar.
The annual report was presented as part of activities at the NBA’s 2026 AGM in Port Harcourt, where lawyers from across the country are participating in discussions on issues affecting the legal profession and the justice system.
The report was signed off by the NBA Communication Officer, Stella Charles Akupue.
