A notorious bandit leader, Bello Turji, hosted an elaborate Eid celebration in Magira, Isa Local Government Area (LGA) of Sokoto State before leading his gang to Fadamar Lugu in the same LGA, where they killed 12 people and injured one person on Tuesday.
The incident was revealed in a post on X by security analyst Bakatsine on Wednesday. According to him, Turji gathered with fellow bandits, including those from neighboring Zamfara State, for a feast in Magira. After the celebration, they moved to Fadamar Lugu, where they attacked innocent residents.
“Bandit leader Bello Turji hosted an Eid celebration in Magira, Isa LGA, with bandits from Zamfara State. After the feast, he moved to Fadamar Lugu in Isa LGA, Sokoto State, killing 12 people & injuring one person just for fun,” Bakatsine wrote.
Turji, who remains one of Nigeria’s most wanted bandits, has been linked to numerous killings, kidnappings, and violent attacks across Sokoto and Zamfara States.
