Former Commander of the Zamfara State Anti-Thuggery Agency, Hon. Bello Bakyasuwa, has attributed the persistent insecurity in the Bakura/Maradun axis to poor political representation, urging residents to take decisive action in the 2027 elections.
In a statement issued in Gusau, the state capital, Bakyasuwa emphasized that electing a competent and capable leader is crucial to addressing the security crisis that has plagued the region.
He stressed that ineffective leadership has exacerbated the situation, leaving innocent citizens at the mercy of terrorists. “We cannot continue to suffer under the threat of relentless attacks while our elected representatives fail to act,” he said.
Bakyasuwa called on the electorate to reject vote-buying and political apathy, urging them to make informed choices in the upcoming elections to secure a safer future for their communities.
