Nigerian singer, Seyi Vibez, has sparked reactions online after taking a swipe at fellow music star, Adekunle Gold, over his music and fashion sense.
The controversy began on Friday when Seyi Vibez shared a post on his 𝕏 account, calling Adekunle Gold’s music and style unimpressive.
“Adekunle Gold, you’re wack, and your swag is wack. Old fool,” he wrote.
Although Seyi Vibez did not reveal the exact reason behind the outburst, many fans believe it may be linked to a line in Adekunle Gold’s recently released song, Life Of The Faaji.
In the track, Adekunle Gold sings about fans enjoying his “fuji” sound and adds a line many listeners interpreted as a subtle jab at Fuji Moto, one of Seyi Vibez’s hit songs.
“They love my Fuji/this one no be Fuji Moto,” he sings.
As of the time of this report, Adekunle Gold has not publicly responded to the remarks.
Meanwhile, in a separate development, Nigerian award-winning singer Davido has informed fans not to expect new music from him anytime soon.
