Armed bandits launched a deadly attack on Dan Muntari village in the Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State on Tuesday evening, killing several residents and abducting more than 100 people.
Among the victims were a woman who had given birth just two weeks earlier and her newborn baby, both of whom were killed during the raid.
Security analyst Bakatsine revealed the incident on Thursday via a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating:
“On Tuesday evening, bandits attacked Dan Muntari village in Danko Wasagu LGA, Kebbi State. They killed many people, including a woman who had given birth just two weeks earlier and her newborn baby. They also abducted at least 100 people.”
As of the time of this report, no official statement has been released by authorities regarding the attack.
