The terrorists responsible for the mass abduction of school teachers and about 40 pupils in Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State have released another disturbing video showing the victims in worsening conditions.
In the footage, the hostages appeared weak, exhausted, and exposed to harsh weather conditions. A school principal, Mrs. Alamu, made an emotional appeal to President Bola Tinubu, Governor Seyi Makinde, and Nigerians to urgently intervene and secure their freedom.
Speaking on behalf of the captives, she pleaded with the government to negotiate with the kidnappers rather than resort to force, warning that the abductors were becoming increasingly impatient and dangerous.
According to her, both the children and adults are suffering severely in the forest, exposed to rain, cold, and harsh sunlight without adequate care. She begged authorities not to abandon them, stressing the urgency of immediate action to save their lives.
Another teacher, who was reportedly abducted alongside her baby, was also seen in the video tearfully pleading with the government to ensure that all the victims are rescued alive.
