Abuja – The Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) has invited all candidates and members of the Bar to a hybrid Candidates’ Debate and Manifesto Day scheduled for today, Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
The event, which will combine physical and virtual participation, is set to commence at 11:00 a.m. West Central African Time at the NBA National Secretariat in Abuja.
Candidates contesting for national offices in the forthcoming July 18 elections are expected to present their manifestos and engage in debates.

Upon successful registration, participants will receive a confirmation email with the necessary joining details.
In a statement issued by the committee, ECNBA Chairman, Aham Ejelam, SAN, extended a cordial invitation to all distinguished colleagues, emphasizing the importance of the forum in promoting transparency and informed participation ahead of the polls.
This debate and manifesto presentation is expected to provide a key platform for candidates to articulate their visions for the Bar and for members to assess their suitability for leadership positions.
