Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a further reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, by N65 per litre.
With this adjustment, the price will drop from N890 to N825 per litre, effective Thursday, February 27, 2025. According to the refinery’s management, the decision aims to provide economic relief to Nigerians, particularly ahead of the Ramadan season.
The new pricing structure for Dangote petrol at partner retail outlets is as follows:
Lagos: N860 per litre
South-West: N870 per litre
North: N880 per litre
South-South & South-East: N890 per litre
This marks the second petrol price reduction in February 2025, following an earlier N60 per litre decrease earlier in the month. In December 2024, the refinery had also slashed PMS prices by N70.50 per litre, reducing the cost from N970 to N899.50 per litre.
