The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) will officially launch its Integrated Welfare Services Platform on Saturday, 1 August 2026, consolidating key member benefits into a single digital system.
The platform merges the NBA-NHIA Health Insurance Scheme and the NBA Death Benefit Scheme into one secure, user-friendly portal. Members will be able to access and renew health insurance, track death benefit applications, manage membership records, and receive real-time updates from a central location.
NBA officials say the move is intended to streamline welfare processes, cut delays, improve transparency, and make services more accessible to lawyers across the country, regardless of location. The association has also stressed strong data protection measures to safeguard members’ personal information.
Lawyers have been urged to prepare for the new system ahead of the launch. The initiative is being promoted under the banner “Your Welfare First.”
