Dr. Monday Onyekachi Ubani, popularly known as MOU, is a distinguished legal luminary, public interest advocate, and accomplished human rights crusader. He is the Principal Partner of the law firm of Ubani & Co., which he founded in 1991, and currently employs over 15 legal practitioners. A graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (LL.B, Second Class Upper), he was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990 after obtaining a B.L from the Nigerian Law School (Second Class Upper). He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in Comparative Constitutional and Company Law from the University of Lagos.
He is awareded PHD by many universities as an honour for his achievements and he is on the verge of completing his PHD degree in law at Babcock University
He has now been elevated to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), a mark of distinction and professional excellence in the legal profession.

Dr. Ubani was recently appointed as the Legal Adviser to the President of the Senate of Nigeria on Legal and Constitutional Matters, where he plays a strategic advisory role in shaping national legal and constitutional frameworks.
In addition, he is the current Legal Adviser of the Assemblies of God Nigeria, one of the largest Pentecostal denominations in the country, where he provides critical legal and regulatory guidance.
