The Independent National Electoral Commission has resumed the nationwide Continuous Voter Registration exercise with the commencement of its second phase. The registration process restarted on Monday following the conclusion of the first phase, which officially ended on December 10, 2025. A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered the interim forfeiture of ₦30.7 million believed to be proceeds of fraud linked to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL).
