Recall that on Thursday the 17th day of October 2024, Bibncollar made a publication that all Notaries Public in Nigeria were required to update their details on a platform provided by the Supreme Court of Nigeria. We gather that the Supreme Court has now made the portal operational and ready for use.
Before beginning your registration process, please ensure you have the following documents and information ready:
1. Passport Photo: Prepare a passport-sized photo (jpg, jpeg, or png) saved on your device.
2. Supreme Court Number & Swear-in Date: Have your Supreme Court Number and the date of your swearing-in (as indicated on your Oath document) ready.
3. File Number (Optional): If you have a file number from the Supreme Court, use the year and 6-digit number from your latest letter.
4. Legal Email & Contact Info: Submit your official email address and phone number for communication purposes.
5. Accurate Data: Ensure all information provided is accurate. Incorrect or duplicate entries may result in submission issues.
With the above details handy, log onto notary.gov.ng/ to complete the process.
Upon submission, a confirmation email will be sent to you.
