Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North, has pledged his unwavering loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), declaring he is ready to lay down his life to secure victory for the party.
Speaking to journalists at his country home in Igbere, Abia State, Kalu reaffirmed his commitment to President Bola Tinubu and the APC, expressing confidence in the party’s prospects in the state.
“I am APC to the core,” Kalu said. “I’m ready to lay down my life for this party. APC is strong in Abia, especially in Abia North. We will work hard to ensure victory for President Tinubu in the state. We’ve done it before, and we will do it again in 2027.”
The former governor and ex-Senate Chief Whip also highlighted President Tinubu’s performance over the past two years, noting that his achievements are enough to earn the continued support of Nigerians.
Kalu expressed optimism about the nation’s economic outlook, asserting that Tinubu is putting in significant effort to stabilize the naira and revitalize the economy.
“The economy needs time to bounce back,” he said. “But the President is working hard to make that happen, and I believe the results will show in due course.”
