The Zuru Patriotic Forum (ZPF) has condemned the recent bandit attack on Tadurga village in Kebbi State, which claimed several lives and left homes and property in ruins.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Dr. Ishaq Danbauchi Senchi, the group described the incident as a tragic reflection of the worsening insecurity in rural communities, calling on authorities to act swiftly to prevent further violence.
“This senseless violence highlights the dire state of security in our communities. We urge the authorities to take immediate and decisive action to bring the attackers to justice and prevent further atrocities,” the statement read.
ZPF extended condolences to the bereaved families and urged the government to deploy more security personnel to vulnerable areas, enhance surveillance efforts, and ensure better protection for lives and property.
The group also appealed for emergency relief support for displaced persons, many of whom are women and children now left without shelter or assistance.
“We stand in solidarity with the people of Tadurga and all affected communities. We will continue to advocate for peace and stability across Zuru Emirate and Kebbi State,” the forum added.
