The Federation of International Women Lawyers (FIDA) Nigeria has commenced its 2nd Quarter National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, amid warm messages of goodwill and solidarity from across the legal community.
One of such notable greetings came from Okey Ohagba, Esq., a past national officer of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), who in a heartfelt message extended his “warmest felicitation to the FIDA Nigeria National Executive Council led by the CVP/National President, Mrs. Eliana Martins, the EXCO and members of FIDA Nigeria, Rivers State branch ably led by Chairperson Mrs. Tamunoibuemi Life-George, all FIDAns Nationwide.”
Ohagba praised the association’s unwavering commitment to its mandate, stating that “your unwavering advocacy for gender equality and ceaseless protection of women and children’s rights can not be gainsaid.”

He concluded his goodwill message on a gracious note with the words:
